The Office of Career and Graduate School Connections is a comprehensive career center offering many unique features for your on campus recruiting needs.
Located in Row Hall, our office space has an 8-occupancy conference room equipped with technology and projector capabilities. With many other meeting availability areas throughout the University of West Georgia, UWG Office of Career and Graduate School Connections can accommodate a variety of your on campus recruiting requests.
You may request to reserve space for on-campus interviews, information tables or information sessions through your Handshake account.
Many employers who recruit UWG students schedule interview dates where they can conveniently interview students on campus in UWG Career Center interview rooms.
Many employers provide the opportunity for students to attend a 1-2 hour presentation during which they overview their culture, hiring processes, employment opportunities, benefits and more. Information sessions provide students with the opportunity to learn additional detailed information that may not be discussed at a job fair or interview.
Sometimes the best way to reach students is to actively engage in the recruiting process. Some employers prefer a less formal and more direct way of both branding their company image and recruiting in a setting that is comfortable to the students. When the weather is nice, employers will set up information tables in front of the University Community Center and follow up with interested students at a scheduled on campus interview.
