Lauren Hart Rollins is an assistant professor of Special Education at the University of West Georgia. She graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL with a Ph.D. in Special Education. Lauren taught elementary students with moderate to severe Autism Spectrum Disorders, many of whom had additional emotional and behavior concerns. She has also consulted with local school systems to provide support to teachers and students with severe emotional/behavioral concerns. Lauren has devoted her career to supporting students with and at-risk for emotional and behavioral disorders, Tier 2 and 3 academic and behavioral interventions, self-regulation, teacher well-being and burnout, and effective special education teacher preparation.
