ITS has completed the project to remove all installations of Kaspersky Antivirus replacing it with BitDefender Antivirus across campus.

We appreciate the patience and grace shown from the campus community as we work to improve the quality of antivirus and anti-malware software.

While our efforts have been thorough, we do not assume that every single instance of Kaspersky Antivirus has been removed. Some computers were offsite and some were likely turned off and physically inaccessible. If you believe that you still have a copy of Kaspersky installed on any of your university-owned devices (you would see a shield with a "K" in your system tray if you do), please contact the Service Desk and request removal and replacement.
