Biography
Chrissy Knoll joined the Department of Sport Management, Wellness, and Physical Education in the Fall of 2012. She has experience in exercise leadership and education in campus recreation, city recreation, private fitness facilities, community and corporate wellness, and with individual clients. Mrs. Knoll has served as Athletic Director for youth and adult recreational sports, has trained athletes for endurance sports competitions, and has experience with event and budget planning for community sports events.
Mrs. Knoll's current certifications and specialty certificates include: NCSF Personal Training, ACE Group Fitness and Fitness Nutrition, ACSM Exercise is Medicine, TRX Group Suspension Training, Tabata Bootcamp, American Heart Association BLS First Aid and CPR, and Kids-N-Fitness.
She is also the University of West Georgia's "Exercise is Medicine on Campus" Coordinator, the Personal Wellness and Leisure Activity (PWLA) Program Coordinator, and was the recipient of the UWG College of Education Outstanding Service Award in 2018.
