Welcome to the XIDS website. We have created this website in an effort to better provide students and faculty with information regarding interdisciplinary courses at West Georgia.
Faculty, please note that all new XIDS Core Courses for areas B2, C1 and E4 of the UWG Core Curriculum must be reviewed and approved by the Core Review Committee. For assessments, forms for submitting XIDS course proposals, and further information, please refer to the faculty pages linked in the gray navigation bar. If you have questions regarding XIDS Core Courses and approvals, please contact Dr. Andy Walter at email@example.com
Students, we hope you find this information to be helpful, including an explanation of what XIDS means and topics covered in interdisciplinary courses, as well as information about XIDS course offerings.

See the related links in the gray navigation menu for program requirements and course offerings. XIDS courses can be team-taught or by a single professor. The purpose is to offer, through special topics, an integrative learning experience that results in a new and enhanced perspective. Three XIDS courses in the core are templates for creating a variety of new, topic-driven sections.
