DUE TO STATE BUDGET ISSUES, THE PROMISE AND HOPE TEACHER SCHOLARSHIP LOAN PROGRAMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2010-2011.
If you need assistance in covering your charges for Summer 2010 but haven’t applied for federal funds previously, please complete the FAFSA 2009-2010 through the FAFSA web site: www.fafsa.ed.gov before June 30, 2010!
You will need your federal 2008 tax returns to complete. There is still time to get federal aid in place but you should do the application ASAP (deadline is June 30, 2010) to ensure there is enough time to get your awards in place by the fee payment deadline.
If you have already completed the FAFSA 2009-2010 but your awards do not include Summer term, you may complete the Summer Aid Request through the Financial Aid section of your BanWeb account by the end of March 2010. Once your eligibility has been reviewed, you will be notified of your award via your UWG email account.
FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE for Summer 2010 is MAY 6, 2010 If you are registered for Summer 2010 classes by that date.
If you will also need assistance for Fall 2010 –Summer 2011, you must complete the FAFSA 2010-2011 using your federal 2009 tax returns.
