Notes:
Prior to entering the physical education major program, students
must complete the UWG physical education requirement or have satisfied
the requirement at another institution to include at least 2 hours
in health or health and wellness.
A grade of C or better is required in courses in these sections.
Admission to Teacher Education
is required before student can enroll in pedagogy block courses.
Minimum
GPA of 2.5 and passing score on PRAXIS I exam is required for admission
into Teacher Education.
Application for field placement for Internship is required two semesters
before enrollment. Check catalog for application deadlines.
U.S. History may be exempted by History Department Exam and an additional
3 hours taken in Area E.
MEDT 2401 may be exempted by RMT Department Exam and an additional
3 hours may be taken in area F as an elective.
