Graduation and Certification Procedures

Two semesters before graduation:

The student must apply for graduation with the Graduate Office.

The deadline is approximately a semester and a half before graduation. To be on the safe side, it is advised the student register for graduation at the beginning of the semester, two semesters in advance of graduation. Consult the University Calendar for deadline dates.

Use the online forms to apply for graduation or by calling the Graduate Office at (678) 839-6419. The forms must be completed and forwarded to the major professor and then to the chair of the department for signatures.
