There are two ways to schedule the College of Education Computer Labs.

OPTION 1

For classes held in a computer lab the entire semester, a faculty member should make a lab request(s) to their appropriate Department Chair. The Department Chair will work with the Associate Dean's office to schedule a particular lab.

OPTION 2

Lab Visit (a lab visit can be one to four class meetings in a computer lab during a semester). Classes that need to meet more than 4 times in the lab during a semester should send their request to their department chair and follow Option 1 above. Requests for lab visits can be made prior to any semester but will not be "officially" scheduled until after the first day of the semester.

Any faculty wishing to request a lab visit should fill out the "Computer Lab Reservation Form" located on the Intranet or either obtain a hard copy of the form in the ETS office. The form should be filled out completely and submitted (in electronic or hard copy) to Matthew Clay (mclay@westga.edu). No classes will be scheduled unless the form is filled out completely. All "Lab Visits" must be requested ONE WEEK in advance of class schedule.

NOTE:

Any faculty or staff member can check the current availability of a lab by using Netscape Calendar or he may drop by Matthew Clay's office to check the schedule. All departmental staff assistants have access to Netscape Calendar and can check availability for you.
