Dan Saurino

Assistant Professor


I teach in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction preparing middle-grades and secondary science and mathematics teachers. My specialties are methods (strategies and techniques for teaching) and classroom research (Collaborative Interactive Group Action Research). I also enjoy observing student teachers in the field to help transfer teaching theory to the classroom.


My Bachelors and Masters degrees were earned at North Georgia College and State University and my Doctorate is from University of Georgia. I also went to seminary and earned a Masters of Divinity at Emory University.

Personal Interests:

I like to watch and attend NASCAR races.
