Ms. Nena's Class Schedule

7:40 - 8:10	Sign-in and put up belongings
8:10 - 8:30	Large Group Time: the class says the pledge, sing songs, introduce helpers, read stories, etc.
8:30 - 9:00	Small Group Time: the class is divide into three groups and have hands on activities that is basic on weekly theme, which the teacher will address art, math, science, social studies, language, etc.
9:00 - 9:20	Large Group- The class will have music and movement by dancing to songs or using classroom instruments.
9:20 - 9:40	Snack Time-the children eat a healthy snack with milk, juice, or water.
9:40 - 9:50	Story Time: the teacher will read stories, do finger plays, or flannel board stories.
10:00 - 11:00	Outside Time- the children will play on playground with equipment or planned activity to build their large motor skills, by using their muscles by hopping, jumping, riding trikes, etc.
11:00 - 12:20	Workroom time- the workroom has learning centers that the children can explore. The centers are: Art center to paint pictures, use assorted texture materials, assorted paper, etc Block area to build house or building by using wooden block. House area to play with baby dolls, pretend to mom or dad, pretend to cook, etc, Library area to read book and tell stories. Computer area to use computer for educational programs. Writing area to write letter or draw letters to mom, dad, friends, etc. Manipulative area the children will work with puzzles, string beads, make patterns, play matching game, stack cube blocks, etc.
12:20 - 1:00	Lunch Time – Teacher eat with children and have open discussion.
1:00 - 2:00	Rest Time – the children will rest their bodies on personal mat with relaxing music playing.
2:00 - 2:30	Large Group – Story Time, music and movement, etc.
2:30	The children are ready for dismissal.
