During Spring 2005, six Assessment Ad-Hoc committees are working on individual assessment goals for the educational unit: Conceptual Framework Ad-Hoc Committee. This committee includes members from the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Education, and the P12 Community. This semester it is focusing on ways to disseminate the Conceptual Framework to stakeholders (students, faculty and administrators in all colleges, and the P12 community) and ways to assess understanding and application of the Conceptual Framework. Committee members are Barbara McKenzie (Chair), Julie Bartley, Jackie Fillingam, Dawn McCord, and Beth-Anne Miles. Conceptual Framework Ad-Hoc Committee Minutes for 01/25/2005 Governance, Leadership, & Climate Ad-Hoc Committee. This committee, which includes members from the College of Education and the College of Arts & Sciences, is focusing on ways to assess the governance and leadership of the educational unit as well as its climate. Committee members are Deborah Bainer-Jenkins (Chair), Linton Deck, Denise Overfield, Alison Stafford, and Janet Strickland. Governance, Leadership, & Climate Ad-Hoc Committee Minutes for 01/26/2005 Field Experiences Ad-Hoc Committee. This committee includes members from the P12 community and the College of Education. Their focus is on procedures for undergraduate field experiences, including assessment of candidates in early and mid-level experiences. Committee members are Marie Holbein (Chair), Rachel Abbott, Michael Hazelkorn, John Ponder, Jill Reddish, Cindy Saxon, and Bryan Sorohan. Field Experiences Ad-Hoc Committe Minutes for 01/18/2005 Program Completers (Advanced) Ad-Hoc Committee. This committee's focus is on assessing graduates and completers of advanced and/or graduate programs. Committee members are Myrna Gantner (Chair), Li Cao, Cathleen Doheny, George Johnson, and Betul Ozkan. Program Completers (Advanced) Ad-Hoc Committee Minutes for 01/27/2005 Program Completers (Initial) Ad-Hoc Committee. This committee is comprised of individuals from the Richards College of Business, the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Education, and the P12 community. Its focus is on assessing graduates and completers of initial and/or undergraduate programs. Committee members are Cher Hendricks (Convener), David Boldt, Skip Clark, Ros Dupelchain, Susan Horton, and Dan Sisterhern. Program Completers (Initial) Ad-Hoc Committee Minutes for 02/16/2005 Teacher Education Field Experience Evaluation (TEFEE) Ad-Hoc Committee. The focus of this committee is on assessment of candidates during student teaching internship. Members are from the College of Arts & Sciences, the Richards College of Business, the P12 community, and the College of Education. Members are Judy Butler (Chair), Angela Barlow, Jorge Gaytan, Maxine Newsome, and Jan McPherson.
